TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Dec. 3 (PIA) --Vaccination teams from Tagbilaran City and 10 towns exceeded their target for the three-day National Vaccination Days (NVD) held Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, adding some 31,770 first-dose jabs.
Tagbilaran City under Mayor John Geesnell Yap II vaccinated twice as much as their committed NVD target of 4,856 when they inoculated 7,662 individuals with the first dose during the three days of vaccination operations, accomplishing 203%.
Jagna town, under Mayor Joseph Rañola, pledged to vaccinate 3,138 residents and was able to reach 4,606 individuals, for a 146.80% accomplishment.
The vaccination team of Duero, under Mayor Conrada Amparo, committed to vaccinate 2,162 residents but inoculated 3,026 residents, exceeding their target by 33% or accomplishing 133%.
On the other hand, Sevilla town led by Mayor Juliet Dano targeted to inoculate 1,017 residents and accomplished 1,260 for a 123% vaccination rating.
Sikatuna town with Mayor Justiniana Ellorimo pledged to vaccinate 692 residents and inoculated 854 residents for a 123.38% vaccination rating.
The town of Loay, under Mayor Hilario Ayuban, targeted to vaccinate 1,590 residents and accomplished 1,899, or a vaccination accomplishment of 119.43%
Alicia town led by Mayor Victoriano Torres committed to reach 3,343 individuals and jabbed 3,962 instead (118.52%).
Alburquerque town under Mayor Don Ritchie Buates committed to vaccinate 1,301 and reached 1,476 (113.47%).
Loboc town under Mayor Leon Calipusan targeted to inoculate 1,372 individuals and accomplished 1,538 (112.13%).
The town of Dimiao under Mayor Randolph Ang committed to vaccinate 1,641 and was able to reach 1,664 (102.1%).
Last on the list of towns attaining over 100% in their vaccination targets is Bilar led by Mayor Manuel Jayectin which committed to inoculate 2,241 residents and reached ,246 individuals (100.22%). (RAHC/PIA7 Bohol)
