Negros Oriental is targeting 990,637 persons for its vaccination drive.

As of Jan. 18, there are 541,374 individuals who have already taken their first dose of the vaccine.

The province has received a total of 1,046,856 vaccine allocation from the National and Regional Vaccination Operation Centers (N/RVOC) since the start of its vaccination program.

The figure does not include the allocation that was directly given to Local Government Units (LGUs) that were not reported to the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) for their inventory.

Estacion said the IPHO continues to set aside allocations for every LGU in the province, and called on the vaccination coordinators in the cities and municipalities to pick up their allocations at the IPHO.
