Meanwhile, local officials from the northern municipalities of Antique were inducted at the Madja-as Confederation Freedom Park in Culasi town, June 28, with Senator Legarda as the administering officer.

Cadiao, who hails from Culasi, delivered a speech before the people of her hometown where she highlighted her gratitude for the outpour of support in the previous election and assured her constituents of continuous progress through the help of her fellow public officials.

As she looks forward to working on her third and last term, Cadiao urges the people of her province to contribute to the development of Antique.

For her part, Senator Legarda expressed fulfillment in her 22 years of experience as a lawmaker.

As she hands over her post as Antique Lone District Representative to her younger brother AA, Legarda is thrilled to return anew to the Senate with focus on legislations concerning livelihood, health, social services, infrastructure, agriculture, culture and heritage, and the environment.
