QUEZON CITY (PIA) -- Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Director General Ramon Lee Cualoping III officially launched the agency's Christmas celebration on December 5, 2022 with an announcement of the ongoing efforts of the PIA Management and the Philippine Information Agency Employees Association (PIAEA) to prepare for the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) bonus.

He also highlighted the importance of a merry, happy, and united Christmas in PIA, as we celebrate for the first time after the pandemic. He then invited everyone to participate in a series of activities such as the Christmas bazaar, TikTok contest, wall decor contest, and the much-awaited grand "SALO-SALO" and the PRAISE Awards 2022 on December 16, 2022.

Director General Cualoping said, "I hope that in the coming days, the coming weeks, we know that it’s back to normal. I hope this is the time that we rekindle, renew friendships, renew our thoughts for the agency and our love for one another."

After the Flag raising ceremony, the PIA Management and the PIAEA Officials led by the association president Girlie G. Bangunan opened the PIA Christmas in our Hearts Bazaar which will be open from December 5-15, 2022 at the PIA Atrium and Lobby.

The bazaar was organized by the PIA Special Events Committee headed by Deputy Director General Kat De Castro together with the PIA Employees Association with the purpose to give a venue for PIA Employees to do their Christmas Shopping and at the same time have a platform to promote their own businesses and other sources of livelihood.
