EL SALVADOR CITY, Misamis Oriental (PIA)--The 21 hopefuls for the province’s Miss Kuyamis 2023 pageant flaunt their fierce strut and curves during the swimsuit segment of the pageant’s preliminary competition at Tuburan Spring, El Salvador City, here, December 30.

Wearing exclusively designed swimwear by Julius Pegarro Jaguio of Pegarro Swim and intricately crafted heels by internationally acclaimed shoemaker Jojo Bragais, the ladies donning their perfect swimming attire represented the unique flavor of their respective towns and cities through their confidence and grace.

With laudable poise and form, Miss Kuyamis-Talisayan Mary Love Lopez, clinched the Best in Swimsuit title in the competition.

The Local Government of El Salvador welcomed the competition as a chance to promote its tourism sites to a broader audience.

“For the third time, honored kaayo ang El Salvador, this activity is so special to me because we are promoting Tuburan spring as our new tourist spot; our participation in this activity is a fantastic sign to begin a memorable year of engagement for the province of Misamis Oriental,” El Salvador City Mayor Edgar Lignes said.

The formal opening program of the 10th Kuyamis Festival will be held, January 9, at the Pelaez Sports Center, and the coronation night for Miss Kuyamis 2023 will be on January 11 at the Limketkai Atrium. (VPSB/PIA-10/Misamis Oriental)
