SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union (PIA) – Some 24,429 examinees will take the Career Service Examination Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) in Region 1 for both professional and sub-professional levels on March 26.
The examinees include 3,212 from Ilocos Norte; 4,659 from Ilocos Sur; 5,110 from La Union; and 11,448 from Pangasinan.
The application was catered on a first-come, first-serve basis until they met the desired target of examinees which started from December 22, 2022 to January 30.
However, a special application was scheduled on December 14-21, 2022 for examinees of the cancelled March 2020 CSE-PPT who have not claimed their refund that opt to take the exam.
According to Mr. Jerwin Linsangan, CSC chief human resource specialist, they already disbursed refunds last December 2022, yet there were still unclaimed payments of the previously cancelled test.
“Nagbigay kami ng ultimatum noon at kailangang ma-disburse ‘yong pera. Sa mga hindi pa nakakuha noon na gusto mag exam, iyon na yung kinonsider namin na bayad. Pero marami pa ring hindi nakakuha, so again humihingi tayo sa Central office ng another deadline para sa mga hindi pa nakakuha,” said Linsangan.
Linsangan advised the CSE-PPT takers to standby for any reminders or notice to whether antigen is required during the conduct of the exam, as well as for the posting of room assignments.
The second batch of CSE-PPT this year will be conducted on August 13 and application will run from May 15 to June 14.
