KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato (PIA) -- President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. designates South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo Tamayo Jr. as vice chairperson for the government sector of the National Anti-Poverty Commission.
In a press briefing Monday, Gov. Tamayo said that with this new task, he will be overseeing national government agencies implementing poverty alleviation programs.
Tamayo explained that NAPC’s main objective aligns with the Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028 in combating and accelerating poverty reduction in the country from 18% in 2021 to 8-9% by 2028.
