QUEZON CITY (PIA) -- The City Government of Muntinlupa discussed potential collaboration on various projects with the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center. their meeting held on July 17, 2023.
In a meeting held July 17, 2023 at the Office of the City Mayor, the PPP Center provided an overview of the Philippine PPP Program, PPP concepts, legal frameworks, and processes.
Led by Director Feroisa Francisca Concordia, the Capacity Building and Knowledge Management Service of the PPP Center provided a comprehensive presentation, offering guidance and support to the Muntinlupa City Government, who sought advice on potential PPP projects that can be undertaken in the area.
Muntinlupa City Mayor Rozzano Rufino “Ruffy” Biazon, Councilor Mark Lester Baes, and other city officials actively participated in discussions.
The officials committed to explore innovative ways of collaborating with the private sector for the benefit of its residents.
The PPP Center, serving as the central coordinating and monitoring agency for PPP projects in the country, expressed its dedication to fostering productive collaborations between the public and private sectors. By facilitating partnerships, the PPP Center aims to enhance the nation's infrastructure and public services.
Biazon said, the meeting between the Muntinlupa City Local Government and the PPP Center signifies a significant step towards future collaboration.
"With the support and guidance provided by the PPP Center, the City Government of Muntinlupa is well-equipped to pursue potential PPP projects, paving the way for sustainable and impactful initiatives in the area,"Biazon said.
