QUEZON CITY (PIA) – ) The Civil Service Commission (CSC) will conduct a virtual launch in preparation for the celebration of the 123rd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA).
The PCSA celebration is being held in accordance with Presidential Proclamation No. 1050, series of 1997, which declares September as the Civil Service Month.
The PCSA theme for the next 10 years will be "Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes," and with this year’s subtheme Dynamism, it will emphasize the importance of digital transformation, innovation, and excellence and continuity in public service.
The CSC will also present various government agencies' initiatives to promote dynamism in the bureaucracy during the virtual launch.
Among the speakers and presenters for the virtual launch are CSC Chairperson Karlo Alexei Nograles, CSC Commissioner Aileen Lourdes Lizada, CSC Commissioner Ryan Alvin Acosta, Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Commissioner Romeo Lumagui Jr., and Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) President and General Manager Jose Arnulfo “Wick” Veloso.
The virtual launch will be held on August 7, 2023, at 10 am until 12 noon. For those interested, live streamed on the CSC Official Facebook page.
