TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, October 11 (PIA) -- Usa ka investment promotion roadshow ang dalhon sa Department of Tourism Region 7 dinhi sa Bohol ug kini mahitabo sa Panglao, sa Oktubre 18, 2023, didto sa SouthPalms Resort, sa Panglao.
Sa suwat ni DOT- Regional Director Shalimar Hofer Tamano, gibutyag niya nga ang DOT pinaagi sa Tourism Investment Enterprises Zones Authority (TIEZA) modala ngadto sa Panglao sa “TIEZA Investment Incentives and Opportunities for Tourism Enterprises.
Kini aron makapakatap sa kasayuran ug makaaghat sa mga lumilihok ug namuhuman sa turismo kabahin sa Corporate Recovery ug Tax Incentives for Enterprises (CREATE) Act, usa ka bag-ong balaod, ug ang mga pakete sa mga insentibo nga dala niini.
Buot usab sa DOT nga pinaagi niini, mapaduso ang mga programa sa tabang ug ayuda sa DOT ug sa TIEZA samtang aghaton ang mga mamumuhunan sa pagparehsitro sa ilang mga proyekto sa TIEZA.
Dugang ni Tamano, ang investment roadshow usab magtanyag sa mga kahigayunan sa pamuhunan ngadto sa mga naglihok ug may kalambigitan sa turismo aron mapahibaw kanila ang mga financial institutions nga makahatag og pahuwam ug mga hatag sa mga mamuhunan dinhi.
Gawas pa, ang roadshow maghatag sa TIEZA sa higayon nga makatanyag sa kahigayunan sa pamuhunan nga adto magtukod sulod sa mga tumbok nga tourism enterprise zones dinhi sa nasud aron makaapil sa tabang alang sa pag-ugmad sa accommodation facilities, MICE centers, premier shopping outlets, ug infrastructure utilities.
Nianang adlawa, gipaabut nga mahidangat dinhi si DOT Secretary Ma Esperanza Christina Frasco, si TIEZA Chief Operations Officer Mark Lapid, si Donald Maldonado ang Manager sa Evaluation and Registration Division sa TIEZA, si Janeth Christine Ocampo ang Manager sa Business Development Department sa TIEZA, si Atty Karen Mae Sarinas-Baydo ang Assistant Chief Operations Officer, TEZ management sector sa TIEZA aron sa pagpadayag sa ilang mga mensahe ug pagpasabut sa CREATE Act.
Gipaabut usab nga makatambong sa kalihukan ang mga Tourism Enterprise Investors sama sa Tourist Transport Services, Accommodation facilities, MICE facilities, Amusement Parks, Adventure and Ecotourism facilities, Sports facilities and recreational centers, theme parks, health and wellness facilities, farm tourism, tourism training centers and institutions, Retirement villages development, restoration preservation and operation of historical shrines, landmarks and structures.
