Photojournalist, Mr. Jimmy A. Domingo conducted training on visual literacy, basic photography, and caption writing for Philippine Information Agency personnel from central and regional offices on July 5, 2023, at the PIA Conference and via Zoom.
Sessions during the training include Overview of Current Trends in Visual Communication; Photography and Photojournalism; Visual Literacy and the Language of the Image; and News Caption Writing.
Participants were also tasked to go out of their offices, take photos, and write captions about them. Their trainer, Mr. Domingo, later subjected these entries to constructive critiquing.
