TUBOD, Lanao del Norte (PIA)--The Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte lauded the Municipality of Magsaysay for being the first to adopt the Vaccine Information Management System (VIMS) in the province.

With the use of this system, getting inoculated will be faster and more convenient, speeding up the whole process from registration to vaccination, recording, and reporting.

The VIMS was developed by the Department of Information and Communication Technology in support of the national immunization program of the government.

Governor Imelda 'Angging' Quibranza-Dimaporo was pleased with the idea of a more efficient way of vaccination rollout and expressed her utmost support to the Department of Health (DOH), Provincial Health Office, and Rural Health Units (RHUs) in the fight against coronavirus disease (COVID)-19.

She also encourages Lanao del Norte constituents to report to their respective RHUs to know their schedule and be vaccinated for the safety and betterment of the province. (PIO-LDN/PIA-ICIC)
