PH receives over 130k government-procured Sputnik V vaccines

PASAY CITY -- Some 132,200 doses of the Russian-made Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccines procured by the government arrived in the country on Friday evening, July 9, on board a Qatar Airways flight.

Of this latest shipment, 82,200 will serve as component 1 or the first dose, while the remaining 50,000 is allocated for component 2 or the second dose.

The country is also expecting the delivery of at least 37,800 doses (Component I) of the Sputnik V vaccines on Saturday, July 10.
