BOC Port of Aparri and 2 others conduct Coastal Clean-up Drive

MANILA -- The Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Aparri, in partnership with Baybay Ku Dalus Ku (BKDK) Organization and Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Aparri conducted a coastal clean-up drive on August 14, 2021 at Maura Shoreline, Maura, Aparri, Cagayan.

Despite Saturday being a non-working day, the BOC Aparri personnel, BKDK Organization volunteers and PCG Aparri employees took the extra mile of waking up early and offered a portion of their rest day to pick up the litter scattered in the said Aparri beach shoreline.

The organizers and participants of the said environment-friendly activity are optimistic on the possibility of encouraging more offices and people to participate in their next coastal clean-up drive.

This coastal clean-up drive is just one of the long list of community service activities the BOC Aparri is planning to realize their advocacy to protect the natural resources and tourist spots of the Aparri municipality. (BOC)
