CLAVERIA, Misamis Oriental (PIA)--The troops of the 58th Infantry "Dimalulupig" Battalion (58IB) of the 4th Infantry Division (4ID) underwent a spiritual intervention and morale-boosting homily during the visit of 4ID Catholic Chaplain Domingo Labrilla together with the Couples for Christ at the 58IB headquarters in Sitio Migbanday, Barangay Poblacion, Claveria, February 17.
This visit was part of the 4ID Catholic Chaplain's job to make sure that the division and its line units are doing well with their missions and to boost the troops' morale and overall well-being.
Labrilla told the soldiers again how important it was to have faith in God and get along with each other in order to achieve the mission and vision of 4ID's campaign.
Also, he talked a lot about how important character, values, attitude, and skills are to becoming a world-class soldier.
58IB Commanding Officer Christian Uy thanked Labrilla for doing the intervention, which will strengthen their faith and help them keep serving even when things are hard.
"The activity gives us a glimpse of reality and strengthens our faith to persistently pray for divine guidance for all the Dimalulupig troopers as we carry out our duties and responsibilities towards God, country, and people," Uy said. (58IB/PIA-10/Misamis Oriental)
