VILLANUEVA, Misamis Oriental (PIA)--The Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Office (MORPPO) arrested 41 suspects and confiscated 58.539 grams of shabu and 15 grams of marijuana during the conduct of simultaneous anti-crime law enforcement operations (SACLEO) throughout the province for the month of May 2023.
Based on the report, MORPPO conducted a total of 41 operations and implemented 10 search warrants for violations of Republic Act No. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The operations resulted in the confiscation of 1 explosive, 1 shabu worth P398,065.20, and P1,800 worth of marijuana.
Additionally, 29 warrants of arrest were successfully served, of which 25 were classified as other wanted persons and 4 as most wanted persons, of which 1 was tagged as provincial level, city level (1), and municipal level (2).
