According to Sylvester T. Miguel, information officer of DTI Quirino, the Coffee Mo by RUSH of Coffee Mo Coffee Trading is owned Deanne Grace Agduyeng of Poblacion Norte, Maddela. Agduyeng is a graduate of the Kapatid Mentor Me Money Market Encounter (KMME-MME) Batch 3.
Bantiyan Brews and Blends on the other hand is a product of Kalapaw Food Products which is owned and managed by Exen Bantiyan Claro.
The said brand coffee brand was named in honor of Claro’s grandfather whose native name is Bantiyan.
Furthermore, HiCup which is owned and managed by 25-year-old entrepreneur Diane May Melchor Rubi from Cabarroguis is a family business that started in October 2020.
Rubi said it is a project which aims to help local coffee farmers by utilizing their coffee beansfor the coffee products.
During the launching, DTI Quirino Provincial Director Ma. Sofia G. Narag, who is also the Regional Supervising Director for Coffee Industry in Region 2 has encouraged the owners to continue buying coffee beans from the local farmers as it would result to additional income for the farmers, more jobs, and a more vibrant local economy.
Meanwhile, the DTI is also set to launch the fourth brand in the next months.
