MISAMIS ORIENTAL (PIA)--The Presidential Communication Operations Office (PCOO) kicked off its week-long Duterte Legacy Caravan in the province as it aims to highlight the achievement of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s administration across nine towns and two cities in the province, February 28.
PCOO Secretary Martin Andanar disclosed in his video message the importance of informing the public of Duterte’s centerpiece and big-ticket programs such as the Dutertenomics, 10-Point Socioeconomic Agenda, Build Build Build Program, anti-insurgency, and counterterrorism campaign, effective social services, among others, which has brought the country, including the province of Misamis Oriental to greater heights.
“Mahigit limang taon na ang nakalipas simula noong manungkulan si pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte, at mula noon hanggang ngayon tuluy-tuloy ang positibong pagbabago sa buhay ng mga Pilipino sa pamamagitan ng kanyang “Tapang at Malasakit” na agenda laban sa korapsyon, kriminalidad at iba pang problema sa lipunan,” shared Andanar.

As of February, the province now has 219 out of 490 drug-cleared barangays, 65.45 percent herd immunity against COVID-19, and 1,328 regular infrastructure projects in the whole region, with AmBisyon Natin 2040 as its collective goal.

Mary Grace Dagasuan, a resident of upper Jasaan, thanked the President for its Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) program which enabled her children to finish school while working as a manicurist.
While Allen Verano a resident from Villanueva, expressed gratitude for the farm-to-market roads in his town which drove economic improvement in their area.
