BOAC, Marinduque (PIA) -- The Livelihood Manpower Development and Public Employment Service Office (LMD-PESO) received four accolades in the recent 1st Regional Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-PESO year-end performance assessment for Mimaropa Region.

Said honors were "Regional Best PESO" award for 3rd to 5th class province for the year 2022; "Best PESO Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) Implementor" and "Da Best Ka" from DOLE-Mimaropa for winning the 2021 Bayanihan Service Award during the 22nd National PESO Congress.

Marinduque delegates triumph in the Sayawit contest which was also part of the activity. They were proud to showcase the local culture and traditions to other provinces.

The agency through the leadership of Alma Timtiman, Chief Administrative Officer and Head of LMD-PESO extended its gratitude to DOLE Regional Director Naomi Lyn Abella and Provincial Director Philip Alano of Marinduque Field Office for their continuous support to their programs and services.

Furthermore, they also expressed their gratefulness to Gov. Presbitero Velasco Jr. and Cong. Lord Allan Jay Velasco as well as to the members of the provincial council headed by Vice Gov. Adeline Angeles. (RAMJR/AMKDA/PIA-MIMAROPA)
