CEBU CITY, Cebu, June 8 (PIA) -- The Pag-IBIG Fund held the Visayas launching of its "Asenso Rider Raffle Promo" on June 7, where around 900 riders of transport network vehicle service (TNVS) and app-based courier companies attended the activity at the Robinsons Galleria, this city. 

The "Asenso Rider Raffle Promo" offers various prizes to delivery riders who are members of the Pag-IBIG Fund, where they have an opportunity to win motorcycles, fuel vouchers, helmets, smartphones, Asenso Rider Packages, and cash prizes.

It was launched to encourage more delivery riders to become members of the Pag-IBIG Fund.

As of this writing, there are an estimated 420,000 delivery riders across the country.

The said raffle promo is also part of the efforts to extend the benefits of Pag-IBIG Fund membership, which include better access to savings programs with high returns such as MP2 savings and affordable housing loan programs to more Filipino workers, particularly self-employed delivery riders from the transport network and app-based logistics sector.

According to Pag-IBIG Fund, those delivery riders who have at least P100 in Pag-IBIG contributions are qualified to join the raffle promo, where each 100-peso contribution will give one raffle entry to the member.

Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene Acosta, who led the Visayas launching, emphasized the importance of being a Pag-IBIG Fund member and urged the delivery riders to register as members to avail of the services and benefits of Pag-IBIG Fund.

Acosta was joined by other top officials of the Pag-IBIG Fund and partner government agencies, Department of Labor and Employment and Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development.
