Statistical exhibits open in Roxas City

ROXAS CITY, Capiz (PIA) --Twelve government agencies are participating in the 10-day statistical exhibits that formally opened, Oct. 10, at the Robinsons Place, Pueblo de Panay in Brgy. Lawaan, here in view of the National Statistics Month (NSM) celebration.

These are the Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office, Provincial Planning and Development Office, Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, Provincial Health Office, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Capiz State University – main campus, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Bureau of Fire Protection, Department of Education –  Roxas City and Capiz Divisions, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and Philippine Statistics Authority.

“Our participating government agencies will be able to showcase various information including their plans, programs, and projects they are presently implementing,” said PSA Provincial Statistics Officer Frankie D. Dordas.

He added that a Philippine Statistics Quiz that will be participated in by 30 contestants from various schools in the province as well as a Data Dissemination Forum are also scheduled later this month in view of the NSM celebration.

Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Acting Area Director Victor Ariel S. Day, Deputy Provincial Administrator for the 1st District Enrique Martin, and Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator Wilar C. Delos Santos  graced the opening program of the exhibits.
