MANDALUYONG CITY -- As the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) continues to be the government’s ally in supporting the National COVID-19 vaccination program, the PRC Bakuna Bus returns to Pila, Laguna aiming to vaccinate over 500 individuals from COVID-19 priority groups A1- A4 with their second dose of Sinovac.
According to PRC Laguna Chapter, On October 14, one of the Bakuna Buses provided by Victory Liner will be parked at St. Therese College Schools and Science, National Road, Pila. Vaccination operations will begin at 9 am.
"Nais natin na mas marami ang ating maabot at mabigyan ng tulong sa gitna ng pandemya. Basta’t may pagtutulungan, malalampasan natin ito! Great work, Red Cross, for the swift action," said Senator Dick Gordon.
As of October 11, 2021, the PRC Bakuna Center in Laguna has now vaccinated 12,984 individuals. PRC volunteers and staff have been vaccinating residents around Laguna since August 18, 2021 in their two Bakuna Buses provided by Victory Liner and one Bakuna Center in the Light Industry Science Park II (LSPI II), Barangay Real, Calamba City targeting the COVID-19 priority group A4 or essential workers.
