MANDALUYONG CITY -- As one of the most efficient allies of the government in battling the COVID-19 pandemic, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) has now vaccinated over 1,037 staff and their dependents from Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas(BSP) in the Philippine International Convention Center.

"Patuloy kaming magiging kaalyado ng gobyerno at ipagpapatuloy namin ang pagseserbisyo sa mga Filipino, hindi kami titigil sa pagbabakuna upang matupad ang aming tungkulin upang matulungan ang gobyerno na maabot ang herd immunity," said Chairman and CEO Senator Dick Gordon.

The PRC Health Services team administered the second dose of Moderna procured from the Department of Health (DOH).

Additionally, Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., the Presidential Peace Adviser and Vaccine Czar, chanced upon the PRC's PICC Bakuna Center yesterday sharing his message of gratitude and is all praises to the support of the humanitarian organization in the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program.
