CLAVERIA, Misamis Oriental (PIA)--The 58th Infantry "Dimalulupid" Battalion (58IB) has installed its new Battalion Executive Officer, Operations Officer, and Civil-Military Operations Officer (CMO) during its turnover ceremony at Sitio Migbanday, Barangay Poblacion, Claveria, May 1.
Presided over by Christian Uy, 58IB Commander, the event beckoned the relinquishment of leadership between the outgoing and incoming staff officers of the unit.
Major Hermilando Corvera, the outgoing Executive Officer, relinquished his position to Major Keenan Arguelles, who formally assumed the role of the new Battalion Executive Officer. Captain Julius Cesar Labay, outgoing Operations Officer, and Captain Vincent Mark Maddul, outgoing CMO Officer, relinquished their positions to 1st Lieutenant (1LT) Jesson Solayao and 2nd Lieutenant (2LT) Maryknoll Cuis, respectively.
The event underscored the professionalism and dedication of the outgoing personnel and their valuable contributions to the unit’s success and welcomed the incoming staff to take pride in assuming their new designation.
Uy shared his gratitude to the outgoing officers for their accomplishments and challenged the newly designated staff officers to bring fresh ideas, new perspectives, and renewed energy in pursuance of the province’s peace and security campaign. (58IB/PIA-10/Misamis Oriental)
