BOAC, Marinduque (PIA) -- Under the leadership of the Regional Information and Communication Management Section (RICTMS) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)-Mimaropa, the Queuing System and I-kiosk were recently launched at the Office of the Social Welfare and Development Team (SWADT) in this town.
The Queuing System is a project initiated by RICTMS that helps and provides good service to DSWD clients. Its purpose is to ease the flow of the system to people. This technology will automatically provide a number to the client for any service they approach such as medical, funeral, education, transportation, and other services.
Meanwhile, the I-Kiosk is a tool that showcases the agency's programs and services. It will also help to deliver important agency reminders, events and announcements to its customers.
Judylene Condino who is a client at the said office complimented the new system as a great help in organizing and prioritizing the individuals who process their transactions.
An orientation and hands-on training were also conducted to the employees of the SWADT with the proper use of the said technologies. (RAMJR/AMKDA/PIA Mimaropa-Marinduque)
